AirNow Fire and Smoke map zoomed in to the Los Angeles area (from Sep-8-2022)
The AirNow Fire and Smoke Map from the EPA shows current fires in the US and Canada and the smoke plumes crossing the states. It also shows air pollutants and where the sensors are located. Sometimes the smoke plumes are high in the atmosphere so the ground-based PM 2.5 monitors will show green even though a plume is high overhead.
